When performing dermal filler treatments, a topical numbing cream containing lidocaine is routinely used to enhance comfort. For anti-wrinkle injections, numbing cream is not typically required due to the fine nature of the needles; however, if discomfort is a concern, this can be discussed and accommodated during your consultation.

Dermal filler treatments can be reversed if necessary, using a dissolving agent called hyaluronidase, which safely breaks down the filler. However, anti-wrinkle treatments cannot be reversed once administered. Fortunately, their effects are temporary and naturally fade over time, typically within three to four months.

It’s important to note that with over 25 years of experience in performing injections (across healthcare settings, not just aesthetics), the need for reversal is extremely rare due to careful assessment and expert precision.

   You'll receive an email confirming your appointment details, including the date, time, and location.

2. Secure Patient Account Creation
   A secure Glowday patient account is created for you. This account allows you to manage your appointments, complete necessary forms, and update your information at any time.

3. Medical History and Consent Forms
   You'll be prompted to complete any required medical history questionnaires and consent forms through your patient portal. These forms are essential for your practitioner to tailor the treatment to your needs.

4. Appointment Reminders
   Glowday Pro sends automated reminders via email and text to ensure you don't miss your appointment.

5. Pre-Treatment Advice
   Depending on the treatment, you may receive pre-treatment instructions to follow.

6. Day of Appointment
   Arrive on time for your appointment. Your practitioner will review your completed forms and discuss any final details before proceeding with the treatment.

7. Post-Treatment Follow-Up
   After your treatment, you'll receive post-treatment advice and may be invited to book a review appointment if necessary.

8. Review Request
   Approximately 24 hours after your appointment, you'll receive an email inviting you to leave a review of your experience.

To ensure the best possible experience, we recommend avoiding alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment and keeping well hydrated. Please arrive with clean, makeup-free skin to support a safe and comfortable treatment. After your visit, we suggest planning gentle activities and avoiding strenuous exercise, saunas, or facials for the first 24 hours. Mild swelling, redness, or bruising may occur and is completely normal. Full aftercare guidance will be provided during your consultation.

If you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment, 25% of your booked treatment cost will be charged. No-shows will incur a 30% fee. This allows us to accommodate other clients and keep things running smoothly.
